Learning Collaborative: Effective Child Welfare and Justice Systems for Families Impacted by Opioid and Stimulant Use

This Learning Collaborative provides technical assistance and addiction consultation to multi-agency teams from California counties interested in improving the outcomes of Child Welfare and Justice Systems for children and parents affected by Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and methamphetamine/stimulant use.

County teams build processes that incorporate evidence-based practices for addiction treatment and national professional justice and child welfare standards for supporting medications and treatment for addiction. This includes support for all FDA-approved medications for treatment of OUD. Teams meet from January 2021 to August 2022. The Learning Collaborative includes six quarterly training sessions, monthly coaching calls, technical assistance, webinars, and more.
